Union Payroll Administrator

iSuite L.L.C. is seeking a qualified professional to join our Accounting team. iSuite is a business support services organization formed in 2023. The organization provides business development and pursuit, estimating, safety, accounting, human resources, information technology, marketing, and training services to clients within the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry.

This shared-services company supports the IMI business units and provides a uniform,

with our employee-owned company so that all personnel take an owner’s mindset approach to our business. iSuite is headquartered in Nashville, TN and has branches in Granite City, IL, Chesterfield, MO and Charlotte, NC.

We are currently looking for a Union Payroll Administrator to join our Accounting team located at our headquarters in Granite City, IL
. Our ideal candidate for a Union Payroll Administrator is someone who has 1+
years of experience in a payroll or accounting role. This candidate will have experience taking a “hands on” role and will possess a general understanding of how Payroll and accounting roles relate to each other. This candidate should demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, and thrive in a collaborative work environment. Construction experience is preferred; however, we welcome those who are eager to learn.

Primary

responsibilities for iSuite’s Union Payroll Administrator include:
  • Process new union employees. This includes but is not limited to ensuring all necessary documents have been completed, inputting new employee information into Payroll/HR programs, and completing the state new hire reporting and E-verification.
  • Complete verifications of employment and state audits for both current and terminated employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee records. Update and maintain union employee mailing and email addresses, direct deposit accounts along with Federal and State with holdings.
  • Assist the safety department with onboarding craft new hires.
  • Assist the payroll team with weekly union payroll processing.
  • Assist with employee portal access for union employees.
Primary qualifications for iSuite’s Union Payroll Administrator include:
  • Possess exceptional communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Display strong attention to detail, while having the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
  • Have the ability to work within an environment with deadlines, and when tasked with multiple duties, attention to detail stays consistent.
  • Able to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform efficiently in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Possess knowledge of current Federal, State, Local and union payroll regulations, and taxation, including those related to employee benefits.
  • Work with others within the organization with a positive, helpful attitude; taking ownership of the role and seeking ways to improve processes.
  • Experience working with Unions is a plus.
  • Experience with Vista by Viewpoint software is a plus.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
