Role Overview
An opportunity for a seasoned Automation QA Engineer with deep experience in Cypress and Type Script. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Build and enhance automation frameworks using Cypress and Type Script
- Create and execute reliable automated test scripts across UI, API, and integration layers
- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD workflows using tools such as Git Lab or Jenkins
- Collaborate across development, QA, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage
- Diagnose and resolve automation issues to maintain test reliability
- Adhere to best practices in automation architecture and code quality
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior QA engineers
- 10+ years in automation testing, with at least 2 years hands‑on experience using Cypress and Type Script
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript/Type Script, Node.js, and automation design patterns
- Skilled in API automation using tools such as Postman or equivalent
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Git Lab CI, Jenkins, or Azure Dev Ops
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology, SDLC, and STLC
- Outstanding analytical, debugging, and communication abilities
