Role: Backup Enterprise Engineering role includes participating in the design, configuration, development, integration, testing, implementation, documentation and support of Backup infrastructure environments.

• Design disaster recovery plans and enforce backup and archival procedures.
• Design and implement solutions for data storage and maintenance.
• Upgrade software, apply patches, and ensure physical security of data.
• Work with business and application development teams to extract requirements and propose appropriate storage and backup solutions and standards.
• Manage offshore technical storage and backups teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage DR data replication to ensure data recoverability.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Backup and Recovery Best Practices in relation to EMC Networker.
• Good knowledge and understanding Security Compliance including data privacy practices and laws.
• Good technical knowledge of Virtualization Technologies.
• Experience in Azure is an added advantage.
