Our Fortune 1000 Credit Services clients is looking for a Principal AI Engineer to join their team.

- Define the strategic roadmap for Git Hub Copilot as a first-class internal product.
- Architect systems for Copilot’s invocation, context retrieval, and action execution using custom tools.
- Design and manage the Model Context Protocol (MCP) toolset to integrate Copilot with platforms like Service Now, Atlassian, Data Dog, and GCP.
- Engineer scalable context strategies, shaping Copilot’s persona and behavior through centralized, version-controlled instructions.
- Design, test, and refine prompts and contextual frameworks to maximize agent accuracy and reliability.
- Establish KPIs, observability stacks, and security safeguards, including human-in-the-loop frameworks and RBAC permissions.
- Deliver cloud-native, microservice-based solutions aligned with secure SDLC practices.
- Mentor engineers, build strong technical teams, and foster collaboration across product, business, and sales partners.
- Troubleshoot production issues under pressure, ensuring compliance with QE, Dev Sec, and Fin Ops KPIs.
- Partner with architects and SRE leads on technical direction, documentation, and architecture decisions.
- Present complex technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years designing cloud-native solutions and microservices (Java, Spring Boot, GCP SDKs, Kubernetes).
- 3+ years of Git Hub Copilot expertise.
- 3–5+ years architecting intelligent agent systems integrated with LLMs.
- Hands‑on experience with Git Hub Actions, Jenkins CI/CD, Helm Charts, Terraform, and infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills.
- Mastery of the Git Hub ecosystem (Actions, Apps, APIs, webhooks).
- Senior‑level proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Deep expertise in RESTful API design, MCP specification, and SaaS integrations.
- Advanced cloud‑native knowledge (GCP, Kubernetes, IAM).
- Experience with event‑driven architectures, RAG systems, and pragmatic agent orchestration.
- Applied LLM expertise with tool‑use and function‑calling paradigms.
