Business Systems Analyst

On-site | Scott AFB, Illinois | Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility required

As a Business Systems Analyst supporting USTRANSCOM, you will help connect operational needs with the systems, data, and processes that support global bulk fuel management. You will work on site, close to mission partners and end users, helping turn complex requirements into clear, usable solutions that improve how teams operate every day.

This role is for someone who enjoys understanding how systems work, helping people navigate complexity, and contributing in a way that is both meaningful and visible.

• Work directly with operational users and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear system and data requirements
• Develop and maintain current and future state process documentation to support operational improvements
• Create and support dashboards, reports, and analytics using tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Translate operational and data findings into briefings and presentations for leadership
• Support system testing, quality assurance, deployments, and ongoing sustainment activities
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, and mission partners across USTRANSCOM and the Department of Defense

Required:

• 5 or more years supporting IT systems, business applications, or data-driven platforms in an analyst or systems role
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
• Experience gathering and documenting functional requirements for enterprise systems
• Strong experience with business analysis techniques, including use case modeling, process mapping (current and future state), business rule capture, and problem decomposition
• Experience developing or supporting dashboards and analytics using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Ability to write or interpret SQL queries for reporting and data validation
• Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, Palantir, or similar analytics and data environments
• Experience supporting system testing, quality assurance, and validation activities
• Experience supporting configuration, change, and release management in structured or government environments
• Comfort working with technical teams, operational users, and leadership in distributed environments

Active DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for TS/SCI is required for this trusted, mission-facing role

Pay Range: $90,000 - $108,000 per year
