Overview
Job Summary (Senior Software Engineer –
Location:
O’Fallon, MO)
- Serve as a core integration engineer on a network analysis pilot using Microsoft Enterprise Viva platform.
- Assist in the assessment, analysis, and implementation of Microsoft Graph Data Connect.
- Act as technical lead; coordinate with platform engineering, operations, data science, and Microsoft support.
- Ensure platform security: identify risks, escalate concerns, implement mitigation and controls.
- Follow company policies, standards, guidelines, and design patterns.
- Collaborate closely with project team to understand requirements and project milestones.
- Implement and monitor quality checks for reliable solution functionality.
- Design monitoring tools, systems, and processes to manage infrastructure.
- Participate in team prioritization with Product/Business stakeholders.
- Estimate and own delivery tasks: design, development, testing, deployment, config, documentation.
- Automate build, operate, and run aspects of software delivery.
- Lead code/design/process trade-off discussions.
- Report status and manage risks for assigned applications/services.
- Drive service integration with focus on customer experience.
- Conduct demos/acceptance discussions with Product Owners.
- Work to improve operational and engineering experience and metrics.
- Develop full understanding of end-to-end technical architecture and dependencies.
- Promote adoption of technology standards, review code, tests, and automation.
- Mentor and guide less-experienced team members.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and reduce inefficiencies.
- Share and seek knowledge within team for reuse and productivity enhancement.
- Collaborate with external teams and support enterprise-level initiatives.
- Hands-on experience with Azure services (compute, storage, AD, Data Factory, automation, monitoring).
- Good understanding of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, and related technologies.
- Knowledge of cost optimization for cloud resources.
- Foundational knowledge of data lakes and data science is a plus.
- Demonstrate creativity, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Open to feedback, flexible, and responsive to changing priorities.
