Role Overview
The Client Partner will serve as the primary business relationship owner for Mastercard engagements, driving strategic growth, delivery governance, executive stakeholder management, and revenue expansion. This role requires deep understanding of the payments industry, digital transformation initiatives, and technology consulting services.
The candidate will collaborate with delivery, sales, engineering, and leadership teams to identify opportunities, expand accounts, and ensure customer success.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management- Build and strengthen executive-level relationships within Mastercard.
- Act as a trusted advisor for business and technology transformation initiatives.
- Drive customer satisfaction, retention, and long-term partnership growth.
- Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning discussions.
- Own P&L responsibility and revenue growth for the Mastercard account.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across digital payments, fraud, risk, data, cloud, and modernization programs.
- Develop account plans, pipeline strategies, and expansion initiatives.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to create winning proposals and solutions.
- Ensure successful execution and governance of ongoing programs.
- Partner with delivery leaders to mitigate risks and maintain high-quality outcomes.
- Monitor KPIs, SLAs, project financials, and customer expectations.
- Support escalation management and resolution planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Client Partner / Account Management / Engagement Management roles.
- Strong experience managing strategic accounts within payments, banking, or financial services.
- Proven track record of revenue growth and account expansion.
Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, card networks, merchant services, or fintech platforms. - Experience working with enterprise clients like Mastercard, Visa, banks, or payment processors.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing large consulting or technology services engagements.
