The Salesforce Solution Architect is responsible for designing and governing Salesforce solutions with a strong focus on Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning (FSL). The role emphasizes solution architecture, business alignment, and scalable design, while providing technical oversight to ensure architectural integrity and best practices across Omniskope client engagements.
Key Responsibilities- Own the end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture for Service Cloud and FSL implementations.
- Translate business requirements and field service operations into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Design and govern FSL processes including Work Orders, Service Appointments, Assets, Entitlements, scheduling, optimization, dispatch, and mobile workforce enablement.
- Define target-state architecture and solution roadmaps aligned with business outcomes.
- Drive architectural decisions, trade-offs, and design approvals.
- Ensure alignment across Salesforce clouds and enterprise systems.
- Architect complex field service use cases such as skill- and SLA-based scheduling, multi-territory dispatching, preventive maintenance, and asset servicing.
- Define best-practice FSL data models and configuration standards.
- Ensure solutions reflect real-world operational constraints and technician workflows.
- Provide high-level technical guidance on Salesforce configuration and customiztion.
- Review and validate integration approaches, data flows, security models, and performance considerations.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce limits and architectural best practices.
- Define solution-level integration patterns with ERP, inventory, billing, and external systems.
- Act as the architecture authority across delivery teams.
- Participate in pre-sales, estimations, and solutioning discussions.
- Strong experience as a Salesforce Architect with Service Cloud and Field Service Lightning implementations.
- Deep understanding of field service business processes.
- Proven ability to design scalable, business-aligned Salesforce solutions.
- Strong stakeholder communication and solution leadership skills.
- 10 + years of Salesforce implementation experience, with 4+ years in a solution or technical architect capacity.
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect;
Certified Technical Architect (CTA) a strong plus. - Demonstrated track record of leading multiple full-lifecycle enterprise implementations end to end.
- Proven ability to communicate complex technical decisions clearly to executive and non-technical audiences.
- Consulting or systems integrator background strongly preferred.
- Must be based in or willing to work onsite in St. Louis, MO.
