Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Service Now Consultant to join a client project. The role focuses on implementing Service Now with an emphasis on maintaining an out‑of‑the‑box solution while guiding clients in configuration rather than customization.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Service Now Consultant within our client’s project team, you will guide the organization through a new Service Now implementation, establish a streamlined, out‑of‑the‑box solution, provide expertise on configuration options, and collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, offer design guidance, and ensure project success within the set timeline. This position is contract‑based with the potential to convert to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and advise on Service Now configuration strategies aligned with client goals.
- Analyze existing processes to recommend best practice implementation options.
- Validate that the platform setup adheres to governance and strategic direction.
- Partner with project teams to ensure timely execution of key milestones.
- Translate client needs into effective out‑of‑the‑box solutions while managing scope.
- Document configurations, decisions, and procedures clearly for future reference.
- Support testing and quality assurance activities for the Service Now rollout.
- Lead or contribute to project meetings, providing guidance on technical and strategic issues.
- 3‑5+ years of experience working directly with Service Now implementations.
- Strong understanding of the difference between configuring and customizing Service Now.
- Proven ability to guide clients with a flexible, consultative mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing or supporting technology projects involving the Service Now platform.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to evolving client needs.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; certifications in Service Now administration or implementation preferred.
- Prior experience with government or utility industry environments.
- Knowledge of project management principles or frameworks.
- Exposure to Service Now governance and strategy development.
- Advanced Service Now certifications or additional related ITSM tool expertise.
$56.00 – $80.00 /hr
