Product Manager III
Adaptive Solutions Group is a premier provider of information technology personnel. We provide a variety of technical professionals for contract, contract-to-hire, and direct placement positions with companies throughout the St. Louis and Kansas City areas.
Responsibilities- Develop and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a product or product portfolio
- Conduct analysis to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for product enhancement
- Define and prioritize product features and requirements based on user feedback, business goals, and strategic objectives
- Partner with business stakeholders, architects, product owners, and delivery teams to align product direction and maximize value delivery
- Create and maintain product roadmaps that balance short-term priorities with long-term strategy
- Evaluate work during pre-implementation stages to ensure alignment to product vision and minimum viable product goals
- Work closely with engineering and technical teams to deliver high-quality product outcomes
- Define detailed product specifications and support backlog prioritization in collaboration with product owners and delivery teams
- Build strong relationships with technical teams and stakeholders to encourage collaboration, feedback, and continuous improvement
- Identify risks, dependencies, and roadblocks early and help coordinate actions to keep delivery on track
- Create user-focused artifacts such as personas, visualizations, or interaction concepts to support better product decisions
- Present roadmap updates, progress, and strategic recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
- Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders and facilitate cross-functional alignment across business and technology teams
- Manage the product lifecycle from ideation through delivery and release support
- Define and monitor KPIs and product performance metrics to measure success and inform decision-making
- Analyze trends, feedback, and operational data to recommend enhancements and future roadmap priorities
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process enhancements, encouraging innovation, and applying product best practices
- Partner with technical, infrastructure, compliance, security, and data teams to understand and prioritize non-functional requirements and risk considerations
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management or a related field
- Strong experience developing product strategy, roadmaps, and feature prioritization
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex systems and translate user and business needs into clear product direction
- Experience communicating effectively with executive leadership and senior stakeholders
- Experience working with cloud-based environments, with strong preference for Azure knowledge
- Broad technical understanding across areas such as Dev Sec Ops , AI, system integrations, and enterprise technology landscapes
- Experience working with vendors and external partners
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong systems thinking and ability to identify issues, dependencies, and opportunities across products or processes
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to navigate tradeoff discussions and push back when needed
- User-centric mindset with strong business acumen
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Motivated, self-directed, results-oriented, and customer-focused
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Certification or education in Product Management such as SAFe, CSPO, CPM, or similar
- Working knowledge of product and software development life cycles, including Agile, waterfall, or iterative delivery methods
- SAFe experience preferred
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or other complex regulated environments
- Experience supporting enterprise product teams with deep technical and stakeholder complexity
