Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Dev Ops Software Engineer.
Do you have experience building CI-CD pipelines and deploying infrastructure-as-code using tools like Jenkins and Git Lab CI?
What You Will Be DoingYou will join the Platform Integration team to support software product development teams and drive enhancements to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI-CD) and release management practices. You will partner with software development and testing teams to improve the Software Development Life Cycle and promote continuous integration and deployment. You will create frameworks, services, and applications that support software product deployment goals, while sustaining and improving knowledge sharing within the engineering team.
You will improve efficiency by automating repetitive tasks, evolving the technology and tools used to keep infrastructure up to date, and implementing infrastructure-as-code. You will build, deploy, and maintain CI-CD pipelines across multiple environments, and you will monitor them to ensure effective operations and reliability.
- Collaborate with software product development and testing teams to improve Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices and promote continuous integration and deployment.
- Create frameworks, services, and applications that support software product deployment goals.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve engineering efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code to standardize infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Create, deploy, and maintain CI-CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Git Lab CI.
- Manage CI-CD infrastructure across development, validation, and release/production environments.
- Evolve infrastructure and tooling to keep systems up to date and aligned with delivery needs.
- Author and maintain technical documentation and support effective knowledge sharing within the team.
- 7+ years of development experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI-CD) and Dev Ops.
- Experience with version control systems (Git and Git Lab).
- Strong Windows and Linux administration and scripting skills, including Power Shell and Command Batch scripts, plus Groovy scripting.
- Experience implementing CI-CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git Lab CI.
- Experience building continuous integration systems using Gradle and Maven.
- Proficiency with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible and Python.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid none stated credential (no specific license required).
- Experience in an ISO/FDA-regulated environment, working under design control and regulatory statutes in a medical device or biotech context.
- Experience collaborating with multi-located teams in a product development organization.
- Experience with on-prem managed infrastructure, virtualization tools, and maintaining Windows images (ISO and VM templates).
$56.00 – $80.00 /hr
