Director of SEO

We are seeking a Director of SEO who is energized by the structure and accountability of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). This strategic leadership role is responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies that drive organic growth, increase search visibility, and deliver meaningful business results. As a key member of the marketing leadership team, you will lead and develop a team of SEO professionals, collaborate cross‑functionally to align SEO with company Rocks and Scorecard metrics, and ensure that our search strategy is always evolving with user behavior and search engine algorithms.

You’ll work hand‑in‑hand with content creators, developers, and client teams to implement SEO best practices across platforms, while also maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders through transparent reporting and results‑driven communication.

Responsibilities
  • Own and execute the SEO vision in alignment with company goals, EOS Rocks, and quarterly priorities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the SEO team by fostering a culture of care, continuous learning, and accountability.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with content, web, analytics, and client success teams to integrate SEO into every digital touchpoint.
  • Leverage SEO tools and analytics platforms to identify opportunities, run experiments, and measure performance tied to clear KPIs and Scorecard metrics.
  • Maintain a high level of curiosity, staying current with trends in search behavior, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide transparent, actionable reporting to clients and internal stakeholders—ensuring alignment, building trust, and celebrating wins.
  • Support cross‑departmental alignment during Level 10 Meetings and contribute to solving issues collaboratively through the EOS IDS (Identify, Discuss, Solve) process.
  • Model and promote a competitive spirit—setting high standards, driving results, and continually raising the bar for search excellence.
Daily Activities

On a typical day, the Director of SEO leads a team of four strategists, reviews performance metrics, identifies opportunities for growth, and prepares for the team’s weekly Level‑10 meeting. The role involves collaborating with the team to refine strategies, analyze data, coach staff, troubleshoot technical SEO challenges, and report wins to leadership. The Director maintains a competitive drive and fosters a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement.
