This role focuses on supporting our franchise partners and markets by developing innovative solutions, such as new payment integrations and app experiences for regions where existing solutions are not supported. Responsibilities- Thorough experience in Snowflake, DBT and Fivetran to become the cornerstone of our team helping the team to become selfservient from technical point of view.
- Develop and maintain data platform through best practices, standards and processes for effective and efficient use. (Our stack comprises of primarily Snowflake, dbt and Fivetran with limited pipelines using Redshift, and Airflow).
- Create data pipelines to integrate various data sources for automating data deliveries for business critical functions.
- Support Data team’s vision of enabling stakeholders across the organization through data-driven decision making.
- Enable effective data governance on the platform.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering and platforms, with strong interest in big data analytics and machine learning.
- Practical experience with integration of data from multiple data sources (PostgreSQL, MySQL RDS, MS Dynamics, etc.). We use Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, so experience in this stack is preferable but relevant experience with other similar tools is also valuable and will be considered.
- Experience with technologies like Docker, Git, etc.
- Knowledge of Software engineering and CI/CD principles for developing, deploying, and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines and data solutions using agile practices.
- Skills in programming languages such as SQL and Python.
- Experience in data visualization and knowledge of tools like PowerBI, Tableau etc.
- Pipeline and Infrastructure monitoring tools like AWS Cloudwatch, Grafana etc.
- Hands-on experience in complex time series data in Retail or related industry.
- R Programming language, Airflow
- Team player with excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across departments.
- Curious, self-driven, solution-oriented individual eager to learn new skills and adapt.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline OR relevant years of experience in required skills.
