The role of Business Systems Analyst supports complex technical efforts for web‑based applications used by the United States Treasury.

Full time, exempt. 5% travel required. U.S. citizen required.

• Create comprehensive system overviews and detailed business and technical documentation.
• Analyze complex business processes and present them in an understandable, logical format.
• Develop mockups of web pages, process flows, and activity diagrams outlining system impacts.
• Support data analysis activities using SQL queries to support feature/story development.
• Participate in and facilitate planning sessions for program increments, sprints, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Translate and communicate business and technical goals, including their value to U.S. Treasury Fiscal Services, Government Agencies, and Federal Reserve Bank teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues, test defects, and work with partners to resolve or workaround problems.
• Maintain the system knowledge base, including security matrices, interface specifications, state diagrams, process flows, and other product documentation.
• Support scrum teams in defining test strategy and scenario discussions and testing activities.
• Support the Product Owner in user design sessions with agencies and communicate with stakeholders.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate within and across diverse project teams.
• Strong analytical aptitude, self‑motivated, and able to work independently while seeking advice when needed.
• Ability to handle extreme time sensitivity and multiple changing priorities.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of proven experience performing Business Systems Analyst activities.
• Experience with iterative development methodologies (e.g., Agile, SAFe).
• Experience working with development teams, Product Owners, and partners at all levels.
• Experience refining epics/features into supporting stories.
• Experience with process modeling, relational databases, and SQL.
• Experience testing applications, including functional, security, system, integration, and accessibility testing.
• Experience with prototyping tools such as Axure, Sketch, or others.
• Knowledge of Accessibility and section 508 compliance and testing.
• Experience with microservice or service‑oriented architectures is a plus.

$94,700–$120,700 annual.
