Operations Specialist III

Technology Partners is currently seeking a talented Operations Specialist. Do you have experience with networking protocols, enterprise monitoring tools, and supporting infrastructure in a fast-paced environment?

You will join our 24x7 Digital Control Center (DCC) team as an Operations Specialist, where you will be responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, and security of critical infrastructure services. You will monitor enterprise systems, respond to incidents, and perform routine operational tasks. Daily, you will coordinate network and server support, troubleshoot issues, and document incident resolutions. You will also participate in shift rotations, providing excellent customer service through phone support and incident management.

This role is a 2-year assignment with opportunities for extension, with training provided onsite for approximately 6-8 weeks and a mix of remote and onsite work depending on shift.

• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services using enterprise tools like Dynatrace, Ops Bridge, and Splunk.
• Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests according to SLAs.
• Document incidents and resolutions within the ITSM platform (Service Now).
• Perform routine tasks such as backups, patching, and system health checks.
• Coordinate high-touch services including patching, firmware upgrades, and fiber maintenance.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
• Troubleshoot network infrastructure, SCADA systems, and cellular communication devices.
• Assist with router infrastructure replacements and firmware updates.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts, supporting compliance and malware mitigation efforts.
• Manage site alarms, UPS systems, HVAC, and other facility-related systems.
• Triage incidents on Windows servers, applying patches and managing virtual resources with Tanium.
• Support fiber outages and radio network troubleshooting, including MAS SD9 and Speednet systems.

• 3-5+ years of experience in enterprise operations, NOC, or similar technical roles.
• Strong networking skills, including CCNA and Network+ certifications.
• Hands-on experience with Windows server environments.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring and ticketing tools such as Service Now.
• Knowledge of network protocols, cybersecurity practices, and incident response.
• Ability to work independently and in a 24x7 shift environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be locally based; able to work onsite during scheduled shifts.

• Server-side management experience (Windows preferred).
• Familiarity with AMI utility programs, data protection, and disaster recovery environments.
• Experience with SCADA, RTUs, and telecom infrastructure.
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks and incident management protocols.

$24.50 – $35.00/hr
