Operational Resiliency Framework Role

Key Responsibilities

Implement our Technology Operational Resiliency framework to assist in identifying risks
Identify critical systems and operations that are crucial to the continued business operations in the event of a disaster
Work cross-functionally with leadership and teams to coordinate and lead business continuity and disaster recovery exercises, identify and prioritize remediation, and track completion
Plan and coordinate drills and tabletop exercises to ensure appropriate preparedness
Implement and maintain disaster recovery plans and metrics to ensure the security and integrity of technology systems and data while championing program improvement opportunities
Own process-based remediation items identified in exercises, collaborating with partner teams to design new processes and policies that close gaps
Experience in documenting processes and building a plan for evolving the process focused on information centralization/automation
Maintain compliance with all standards, regulations, and requirements
Test operational resilience of programs
Create reports as needed for different levels of leadership, covering all aspects of operational resiliency
Ensure the execution and quality of enhancements, support, and projects
Understanding of the team's systems, processes, and technologies
Manages and develops self while internalizing leadership feedback
Establish and maintain effective communications and relationships across teams, departments, divisions, and vendors
Must be able to establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors while aligning with the firm's objectives

Preferred Qualifications in the Job

10+ years of experience in operational resiliency, business continuity, disaster recovery, or related risk assessment and remediation at a technology or financial services organization is a plus
Strong technical aptitude with project management skills, capable of learning emerging products and creating plans to support the business
Experience with Azure and building a structure for cloud-based disaster recovery methodology a plus
Experience with Sharepoint site maintenance and building collaboration desired
Service Now familiarity or working on the SN platform is a preference, Will be setting up the BC-DR Module.
Outstanding communicator and writer; experience with drafting project plans across multiple stakeholders, holding teams accountable to their deliverables, and producing final reports
Finely tuned ability to risk rank multiple high-priority items and advocate successfully for technical teams
Experience in Agile Framework with the familiarity of SAFe Principles, and story development/refinement/delivery a preference
Experience in defining, implementing, and ensuring risk-based standards, processes, and procedures for responding to disruptions in business or IT operations
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while still meeting deliverables
Bachelor's degree preferred or related work experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to Technology
Strong technical knowledge of operational resilience and security controls specifically in
systemically critical companies.
Prefer Business Continuity Certification (CBCP, MBCP, BCCE, etc.)
