Position: Data Scientist (Databricks)

Data Scientist (Databricks)

We are seeking a Data Scientist with strong expertise in Databricks, machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling. The ideal candidate will build analytical products that improve business processes through automation, experimentation, causal inference, optimization, and advanced analytics. This role requires collaboration with both technical and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver analytical and machine learning solutions.
  • Extract, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA).
  • Develop and deploy predictive models using Python, Tensor Flow, and PyTorch.
  • Design, execute, and evaluate experiments.
  • Apply causal inference techniques using observational data.
  • Create documentation, insights, and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to implement solutions.
  • Continuously improve skills and contribute to team success.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience in predictive modeling, statistical inference, or quantitative analysis.
  • Strong experience with Tensor Flow and PyTorch.
  • Proficiency in Python or R.
  • Experience presenting analytical findings to diverse audiences.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship (US Citizen or Green Card holder).
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in a quantitative discipline.
  • Experience with Databricks.
  • Knowledge of experiment design and A/B testing.
  • Experience with data visualization and exploratory analysis.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Linux/Unix.
  • Experience integrating data from multiple sources and formats.
  • Hands-on experience with causal inference techniques such as matching and weighting.
