The Senior Engineer’s role is to be accountable for Technology, Infrastructure, and Operations projects that impact company security and operational efficiency. This includes maintaining applications, systems, network, and telecommunications infrastructure to provide operational integrity and meet best practice guidelines for operational availability. The Senior Engineer assists all teams with development and communication of strategic planning, project planning, and ongoing development of technological solutions.
The role also provides tier‑level support for the Service Desk, System Administrators, and initiates projects while providing guidance to management on technical matters.
- Manage and coordinate deployment, development, and expansion of the technology operations environment.
- Identify potential problems with delivery of operational services and develop solutions.
- Provide on‑call infrastructure support during non‑business hours.
- Communicate with departmental personnel to ensure effective deployment of technologies.
- Serve as a technical resource for departmental and company‑wide IT solutions.
- Participate in meetings to explain technical solutions and feasibility of operations to meet departmental needs for software and hardware.
- Work with Engineers and Leadership to find cost‑effective solutions for new and existing software and hardware needs.
- Maintain knowledge of company management software, architectures, telecommunication products and services.
- Provide monitoring and reporting of technology operations for complex systems.
- Collaborate with team members, software vendors, and other technical staff on project efforts to achieve implementation plans and timelines.
- Monitor system stability and capacity relative to licensed limits, and assist in developing long‑term strategies and capacity planning for future infrastructure and telecommunications needs.
- Understand quality improvement processes, create new documentation, and produce desired outcomes efficiently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent technology certifications.
- Four to eight years of experience implementing systems and networking environments in large managed environments, including virtualization, Citrix, Microsoft technologies, telecommunications, call‑center environments, voice services, and gateways.
- Experience with storage area networking (SAN), servers running varied operating systems, and knowledge of security, integrity, and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of current Microsoft operating environments with emphasis on M365, AVD, Cloud PC, Power Platform, and SharePoint Online.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to consult with management, business partners, and vendors.
- Project management skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects with varying priorities to successful completion.
- Additional qualifying work experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Provide a non‑cellular high‑speed Internet connection (fiber, DSL, or cable) with a minimum standard speed of 30
Mbps download by 5
Mbps upload; latency lower than 80ms. - Hotspots, satellite, and wireless internet services are not allowed.

- Salary range: $109,474 – $138,491
USD (maximum salary $154,318
