opportunity

As an FSO Technical Program Manager, you’ll be based in our Service Delivery Center, which is made up of high-performing US-based colleagues who work closely with our experienced advisory professionals. We deliver technology project-based work and managed services to our clients. Here, you’ll work as part of a project team and will be responsible for the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of technology solutions.

This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you’ll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learn new rapidly evolving technology solutions.

We are looking for Technical Program Managers who will collaborate with clients to transform their business through disruptive innovation enablement and transformational design solutions. The team supports our clients in modernizing systems, processes and products to enhance business and customer-facing platforms and services to support high performance in a rapidly changing and competitive environment. The team leverages microservices, cloud, omni‑channel integration, API management and open‑source technologies to enable end‑to‑end automation.

Key Responsibilities

The role supports clients in transforming business challenges through technology‑enabled engineering solutions. You will work with engagement teams to analyze business requirements and drive the planning, execution, and delivery of technology programs or products from inception through completion.

You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality, reliable solutions with a strong focus on customer experience. This role requires applying deep technical expertise and professional knowledge to guide delivery outcomes.

You will also lead the end‑to‑end execution of engineering work across delivery teams and dependent organizations, ensuring alignment, managing dependencies, and providing accurate and timely reporting on program progress.

  • Plan and manage multiple related technology projects from initiation through successful delivery
  • Apply strong knowledge of system design, architecture, and relevant technologies
  • Prioritize customer experience, efficient delivery processes, and problem‑solving outcomes
  • Collaborate across multiple scrum teams, either across products/technologies or within a specific domain
  • Align stakeholders and proactively mitigate or resolve dependencies and blockers
  • Engage with external partners, including Mastercard technology teams, vendors, and clients
  • Operate with minimal supervision, seeking guidance where necessary; delivery strategy is defined, but solution design requires input
  • Develop a deep understanding of both business needs and technical requirements
  • Account for the needs of engineering and operations teams responsible for long‑term system maintenance
  • Simplify complex technical designs by collaborating with engineers, architects, and technical program managers
  • Support data‑driven decision‑making by evaluating trade‑offs across business goals, platform strategy, customer experience, and maintainability
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues across multiple levels
  • Produce required documentation to support delivery and governance
  • Collaborate with vendors to align on architecture, implementation plans, and roadmap opportunities
  • Provide clear and concise status updates to senior leadership, escalating risks and issues as needed
