NVision IT is Hiring – Senior Cloud Architect (Onsite, St. Louis, MO)
We’re expanding our team and looking for an experienced Senior
Cloud Architect to lead cloud strategy, architecture, and large‑scale application migration efforts across public, private, and hybrid environments.
This is an onsite role (Mon–Fri) in St. Louis, MO
. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens (no dual citizenship) and hold an active Secret Clearance
. Local candidates or those willing to relocate/commute are welcome.
The Cloud Platform Architect provides senior‑level technical leadership for cloud adoption, migration, and enterprise architecture. You’ll shape cloud strategy, design scalable and secure cloud solutions, and guide teams within Agile/SAFe environments.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain enterprise cloud architecture strategy
- Ensure alignment with security, compliance, and industry best practices
- Assess application portfolios and define migration roadmaps
- Identify cloud optimization and modernization opportunities
- Architect scalable, resilient, and secure cloud solutions
- Optimize workload placement across multi‑cloud environments
- Establish governance, monitoring, and cloud management frameworks
- Implement automated scaling, DR, and self‑healing capabilities
- Drive data protection, encryption, and access management strategies
- Collaborate with business leaders to align cloud and business objectives
- Communicate complex concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Mentor cloud engineering teams
- Participate in SAFe events (PI Planning, System Demos)
- Partner with RTEs and Solution Architects to align with program goals
- 8–12 years of relevant experience
