Av Technician

Kavaliro is seeking an AV Technician to support a client in St. Louis, Missouri. Duties include direct A/V support for classrooms, academic spaces, and events, troubleshooting moderately complex A/V and classroom technology issues, supporting installations, setups, system status, and downtime procedures, and training, scheduling, and managing staff and/or student employees.

Skills include streaming and web-conferencing knowledge, camera operation, understanding of room A/V equipment, portable sound reinforcement and video projection, strong customer service, adaptability, organization, communication, and flexibility, and willingness to work extended hours when needed.

Minimum qualifications include an associate's degree plus 2 years of related experience, or equivalent combination, experience with A/V and classroom controller hardware/software, technical knowledge of video and web conferencing tools, and experience with both Windows and Apple systems. Preferred qualifications include Info Comm CTS certification, experience in higher education A/V or technology support, and experience training others on technology use.
