We are seeking a Software Developer to join our Platform Mission Applications Team. The team is responsible for integrating, deploying, and ensuring Continuous Delivery (CD) of Mission Partner Applications across all fabrics using tools such as Istio, Kiali, K9s, Grafana, Keycloak, Git Lab, Kustomize, Helm, and ArgoCD. We develop deployment and integration manifests to create the necessary Kubernetes objects, resources, policies, and components to deploy Mission Partners applications into our ecosystem.

As a member of the Platform Mission Applications team you will:

• Integrate and deploy Mission Partner Applications using Kubernetes and related tooling.
• Develop and maintain automation pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code for deployment.
• Support mission partner onboarding, including mission manifests and bootstrap integration.
• Provide Tier 3 support, maintaining SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and infrastructure components such as mTLS gateways and service mesh configurations.

• Kustomize and Helm

• IAT or IAM Level II DoD 8570 Certification
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• Ability to access secure facilities with SIPR & JWICS
• Experience with microservice orchestration, heavily focused on Kubernetes
• Experience with Kustomize and Helm
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Git Ops and CI/CD, especially Git Lab
• 5+ years of experience in application deployment and release management
• 3+ years of experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift)
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD)
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python, Bash)
• Strong understanding of application deployment strategies (blue/green, canary)

• Advanced application and network troubleshooting, database administration, and PKI management
• Experience with cloud providers, especially AWS
• Experience with Agile Methodologies
• Experience with automation including batch scripting, pipeline automation, Kubernetes operators, and IaC (Terraform, Ansible)
• Experience with cloud-native application architectures
• Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
• Experience with security scanning and vulnerability management tools
• Experience with platform engineering concepts
