Software Developer, Cloud Computing: Infrastructure & Operations, SRE​/Site Reliability

Responsibilities

• Integrate, deploy and ensure Continuous Delivery (CD) of Mission Partner Mission Applications across all fabrics using tools such as Istio, Kiali, K9s, Grafana, Keycloak, Gitlab, kustomize, Helm and ArgoCD.
• Develop deployment and integration manifests to create required Kubernetes objects, resources, policies and components for deploying Mission Partner applications into our ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Platform Mission Apps Development & Engineering (MADE), Customer Empowerment (MACE) and Tier 3 (MAT3) teams to automate build pipelines, maintain the Mission Apps Padawan site, support onboarding, configuration management and Tier 3 support.

• Experience with microservice orchestration, especially Kubernetes

• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Git Ops and CI/CD, especially Gitlab
• 5+ years of experience in application deployment and release management
• 3+ years with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Open Shift)
• 3+ years with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, CircleCI, ArgoCD)
• Experience with infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible or similar
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash)
• Strong understanding of application deployment strategies (blue‑green, canary)

• Advanced application and network troubleshooting, database administration, and PKI management
• Experience with cloud providers, especially AWS services
• Experience with Agile Methodologies
• Automation: batch scripting, pipeline automation, Kubernetes operators, IaC (Terraform, Ansible)
• Cloud‑native application architectures
• Service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
• Security scanning and vulnerability management tools
