SAP HANA DBA Consultant

Location: St. Louis, Missouri OR Philadelphia, PA (Onsite)

Clearance: Active Secret clearance

Certification: Security +

An experienced SAP S/4 HANA Database Administrator is sought to support an aerospace and defense program. The consultant will provide operational support for SAP S/4

HANA systems across both secure and non‑secure environments. This role involves system maintenance, performance optimisation, upgrades, deployments, and future release activities. The ideal candidate will possess SAP HANA database administration expertise, SQL and troubleshooting skills, and experience supporting critical SAP landscapes in enterprise environments.

• Provide SAP HANA DBA support for SAP S/4
  
  HANA systems in both secure and non‑secure environments.
• Monitor, maintain, and optimise SAP HANA database performance, availability, and stability.
• Support SAP HANA High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) environments, including system replication, fail‑over testing, and recovery activities.
• Perform database troubleshooting, performance analysis, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Support system upgrades, maintenance activities, release deployments, and production support operations.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis, infrastructure, security, development, and functional teams to support system operations and project delivery.
• Support testing, deployment, cut‑over, and post‑deployment validation activities.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and technical documentation.

• Must be a U.S. citizen by birth with no dual citizenship.
• Must be based in the St. Louis, MO area, the Philadelphia, PA area, or be willing to travel weekly to either location for full‑time, onsite work.
• SAP S/4
  
  HANA experience.
• Deep SAP HANA Database Administration expertise supporting SAP S/4
  
  HANA environments.
• Understanding of SAP HANA architecture, performance optimisation, and HA/DR environments.
• Experience with SAP HANA performance tuning, SQL analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Experience supporting SAP HANA System Replication, fail‑over, recovery, and HA/DR operations.
• Experience supporting SAP S/4
  
  HANA production environments, maintenance activities, and release deployments.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.

• SAP Basis administration experience.
• Experience supporting secure environments.
• Experience supporting large‑scale SAP S/4
  
  HANA transformation programmes.
