This position leverages experience with IFS to drive meaningful improvements across the enterprise through technology-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities- Act as a trusted team member who builds confidence across the organization.
- Collaborate with every department to understand challenges, document processes, and design solutions aligned with company and customer goals.
- Use communication and trust‑building skills to support functional leaders in identifying improvement opportunities with measurable outcomes.
- Apply IFS expertise to optimize operations by integrating functionalities.
- Document and communicate development requirements, including custom fields and automations, to the technical team.
- Assist in testing solutions, identifying design adjustments, and validating new systems and processes using Agile methodology.
- Deploy solutions across the organization and monitor outcomes to confirm business results.
- Set project timelines and detail key milestones and tasks to achieve objectives; maintain progress through task management.
- Support training efforts and create training documentation; provide assistance to end users regarding business processes and IFS inquiries.
- Translate business needs into clear IT deliverables using IFS, Microsoft, Doc Boss, and other tools.
- Collaborate with business units to document and implement solutions within the Digital Transformation initiative.
- Create comprehensive functional requirements and business process documentation with advanced MS Office tools.
- Identify and document process improvement opportunities that drive efficiency and productivity.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and impact.
- Support change‑management efforts, preparing teams for upcoming changes and communicating benefits.
- Explore AI‑powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot to enhance work in IFS and business processes.
- Evaluate and pilot emerging technologies as the digital transformation evolves.
- Design and execute testing protocols to validate new systems and processes.
- Analyze large datasets with advanced Excel functions to uncover insights and support decision‑making.
- Contribute to training materials and operational procedures that increase efficiency across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience per the specified tiers.
- Two or more years of experience in a technical or business analyst support role, or five or more years in cross‑function business operations/superuser role.
- Exposure to project coordination or willingness to develop these skills.
- Hands‑on experience with IFS in one or more functional areas (CRM, order management, manufacturing, inventory, service management, project management, finance or HR).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP), Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule at one of the three major office locations.
- Effective written and verbal communication with internal customers and co‑workers.
- Ability to proactively identify business needs, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and collaboration.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and travel domestically up to 10% of the time.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to pass a background check; ability to use personal vehicle for work travel when required.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Engineering or related discipline.
- Five or more years of experience in a similar position.
- Three or more years with ERP systems and five or more years with cross‑functional teams.
- Experience with Agile methodology and IFS Cloud in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge across four or more IFS key areas.
- Experience supporting multi‑site work forces and using Oracle‑based platforms.
