DLX Project Management Apprentice

The DLX Project Management Apprentice will assist with managing and coordinating key digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities include project coordination, business analysis, data management, technology adoption, and documentation. Through hands-on involvement in transformative projects like Salesforce Education Cloud implementation and change management strategies, the apprentice will gain valuable experience in project management and digital innovation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project Coordination:
    Collaborate with stakeholders to track and manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for key DLX initiatives.
  • Business Analysis:
    Support the evaluation of current processes and recommend improvements to align with institutional goals.
  • Data Management:
    Compile, analyze, and present data related to project outcomes and student experiences.
  • Technology Adoption:
    Facilitate workshops and training sessions to encourage staff adoption of digital tools, such as Salesforce and AI-based learning systems.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate project records, create user guides, and generate status reports for leadership.

Professional Development & Growth:

This apprenticeship provides hands-on experience in project management, change management, and cross-functional collaboration. The apprentice will develop essential skills in communication, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, and technology, all while working on enterprise-level digital transformation projects.

Key Projects & Deliverables:

  • Salesforce Education Cloud Implementation Project:
    Assist in creating and managing project plans, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Project Management of Key Initiatives:
    Develop project plans, including Gantt charts and risk mitigation strategies, and ensure alignment with University objectives.
  • Change Management Strategy:
    Collaborate with the DLX team to design and execute change management plans for Salesforce implementations, focusing on user training and adoption.
  • Project Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain detailed documentation, including meeting minutes, action items, and progress reports, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Communication Plan Development:
    Create and manage communication plans for key projects to ensure effective updates for stakeholders and leadership.

Qualifications:

  • You are a Proactive Go Getter! Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in creating reports and documentation.
  • Influence:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a program such as Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.
  • Completion of courses in project management, data analytics, or communication-focused areas.
  • Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and project management software such as Asana.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Trello, Jira).

Working Conditions:

  • Attend periodic staff meetings.
  • Must sign a confidentiality agreement.
  • University computer and system access (e.g., Salesforce, Colleague).
  • Fully Remote with opportunities for independent and team-based work.

Position Pay: $16.25/hr Hours per week: 10 hrs

Start Date:

8/24/2026 End Date: 4/16/2027
