Business Analyst

Location: St. Louis

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an experienced Business Analyst in Saint Louis, MO to bridge business needs and technology solutions, ensuring initiatives align with strategic goals and deliver measurable value.

Key Responsibilities:

* Business Analyst will build strong relationships with business stakeholders and serve as a trusted IT partner

* Collaborate with customers to understand needs, prioritize initiatives, and align with business objectives

* Develop business cases, conduct feasibility analyses, and support project planning, governance, and resource estimation

* Gather, analyze, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements

* Facilitate process improvements, process mapping, and business process modeling

* Create prototypes, workflows, use cases, and process/data flow documentation

* Ensure effective communication of requirements and support change management practices

* As a Business Analyst, you will partner with technical teams to validate solutions, monitor requirement fulfillment, and evaluate outcomes

* Lead requirements management activities and provide guidance to other business analysts

* Support quality assurance testing, user acceptance testing, service level management, and project status reporting

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field

* 6+ years of progressively responsible business analysis experience

* Experience supporting technology and application development projects

* Experience creating use cases, process flows, and functional/non-functional requirements

* Strong skills in requirements gathering, process improvement, business case development, and stakeholder management

* Advanced analytical abilities with experience using SQL and Excel

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation

* Excellent organizational, analytical, and independent problem-solving skills

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, and business analysis tools and techniques

* Demonstrated successful performance giving presentations to both small and large audiences, and coordinating and completing multiple tasks within established and changing deadlines

* Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams

* Knowledge of ITIL and software development methodologies preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
