Senior MDM Developer – IBM Integration

• Write high-level functional requirement documents and technical specifications across the full SDLC
• Support and enhance IBM Info Sphere MDM (Virtual MDM), including data models, entities, transactions, batch processing, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain Kafka-based integrations, including topic creation, producer/consumer development, and message-flow troubleshooting
• Work in Linux/Unix environments and write Power Shell and Bash scripts, including CRON job scheduling
• Write and optimize SQL against Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
• Manage code in Git/Git Hub and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops or similar tools
• Support Wild Fly application server deployments, health checks, and batch-processing integration with Kafka and MDM
• Create and manage certificates on Windows and Linux
• Partner with DBAs, Infrastructure teams, and client stakeholders on ticket resolution
• Design and execute test plans, support UAT, track defects, and perform post-implementation testing
• Monitor production and non-production environments, support RFC-driven changes, and maintain system documentation
• Deliver monthly reporting on MDM applications

• 8+ years of enterprise-scale software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Info Sphere MDM v14.x Standard Edition (Virtual MDM)
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
• Preferred: 8+ years of Java/J2EE experience, including Java, JSP, REST/SOAP services, and strong production troubleshooting
• Preferred: 5+ years of Linux/Unix administration and Bash shell scripting
• Preferred:
  Kafka and Wild Fly integration experience, including Zookeeper/KRaft concepts and Strimzi operator
• Preferred: SQL proficiency with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
• Preferred: CI/CD experience with Azure Dev Ops and Azure Git
• Preferred:
  Cloud, OCP/Open Shift/Kubernetes exposure and AWS/Azure familiarity
• Preferred: ELK/Elastic Stack log monitoring across Kafka, Wild Fly, and MDM
• Preferred:
  Flowable development experience

Demonstrates extensive experience in enterprise-scale software development, with a strong focus on IBM Info Sphere MDM, Apache Kafka integrations, and SQL proficiency. Capable of managing CI/CD pipelines and supporting application deployments in Linux/Unix environments.
