REMOTE Senior IT Asset Management Analyst

Position Overview The Senior IT Asset Management Analyst is responsible for overseeing IT hardware assets throughout their lifecycle, including forecasting, procurement, inventory management, governance, and disposal. This role works closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate asset tracking, operational efficiency, and adherence to asset management best practices. The position also contributes to process improvement initiatives and provides guidance to team members on asset management activities.

Responsibilities
  • Manage IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including forecasting, procurement, deployment, inventory management, and retirement.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate asset records and inventories.
  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve issues related to asset management, governance, and compliance.
  • Partner with vendors to facilitate asset acquisition, replacement, warranties, and disposal activities.
  • Forecast and maintain inventory levels to support projects and ongoing operational needs.
  • Perform day-to-day operational and tactical asset management activities.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and asset governance.
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and elevate more complex concerns as appropriate.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and status updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the development, enhancement, and documentation of asset management processes, standards, and procedures.
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of asset management initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Commitment to incorporating security best practices into daily responsibilities.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management, Technology Asset Management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience managing hardware assets and their lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and asset tracking tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and frameworks.
  • Experience with inventory forecasting, reporting, and vendor management.
  • Understanding of asset governance, compliance, and audit requirements.
