Cloud Software Engineer III (Hybrid)

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Cloud Software Engineer III for our premier client in St. Louis, Missouri.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience may be considered.
• 7+ years of progressive cloud engineering experience in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated hands‑on expertise with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Cloud Formation, EKS, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) (Compute, Networking, Object Storage, IAM, OKE, etc.).
• Proven experience supporting mission‑critical production systems with high availability requirements.
• Strong background in Linux and Windows server administration.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, security architecture, and hybrid connectivity (VPN, Direct Connect, Fast Connect).
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform strongly preferred).
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (NERC CIP, SOX, or similar).

  Hands‑on recent experience using Oracle Cloud implementation.

• The team is part of the Cloud engineering team.
• Mainly use AWS.
• Onboard other teams to Cloud.
• Additionally, need Oracle Cloud experience.
• Planning to move to Oracle Cloud, need to work with the design and development of this project.
• Work with the team and stories (agile team). 3‑month PI programming. Will work with existing lead cloud engineers to work on stories.
• This person will collaborate with other teams, including architecture to design the implementation.
