IT Vendor​/Contract Manager

We are seeking an IT Vendor/Contract Manager to oversee vendor relationships and contract administration for hardware and software vendors. This role requires strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage statements of work in a fast-paced environment.

• Manage relationships between the organization and external vendors
• Administer contracts with hardware and software vendors
• Gather and maintain knowledge of the external marketplace, serving as an internal resource on vendor offerings and options
• Interact with vendors to resolve escalated issues and plan for future software releases
• Resolve complaints, process adjustments, and correct errors related to a defined set of products, services, or vendor issues
• Monitor vendor performance and progress against complex statements of work
• Manage statements of work for contracted labor
• Conduct simple negotiations with established vendors

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
• Two (2) years of relevant technical or business work experience
• General understanding of project management methodologies and software development life cycles

This role requires a thorough understanding of fundamental IT tools and concepts, applied to make independent, practical contributions to moderately complex IT initiatives. The successful candidate will operate under general supervision while demonstrating sound business acumen, effective problem resolution, and the ability to communicate technical subject matter clearly to varied stakeholders.
