About the team:
The ONE Data Strategy team is a core function within Mastercard's ONE Data & Governance organization. Our mission is to deliver a unified operational data strategy and platform, integrating a modern Data Lake and lakehouse-aligned architecture that connects batch, streaming and operational data across multiple platforms. The ONE Data Strategy team serves as both a strategy and delivery organization focused on transforming data into a trusted enterprise asset that powers decision-making, operational efficiency, governance, AI-driven innovation, and future business capabilities.
What we're looking for:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree in Data Science or a related field, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
- Experience with or knowledge of operational data platforms and observability tools, such as AIOps, Splunk, telemetry systems, Dev Ops tools, and Dynatrace
- Experience applying data analytics techniques, including anomaly detection, forecasting, and data engineering
- Proficiency in data visualization and dashboard development using tools such as Power BI, R, Shiny, or Splunk
- Ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into actionable business recommendations
- Hands-on experience with machine learning projects, including model development, deployment, or operationalization is a plus
- Familiarity with leveraging telemetry and operational data to identify trends, optimize performance, and support predictive analytics initiatives is a plus

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
