Senior Infrastructure Security Architect

Edward Jones seeks a Senior Infrastructure Security Architect to design and secure enterprise-scale cloud and on-prem infrastructures for a leading financial services firm. You will define security architectures, standards, and patterns for networks, endpoints, identity, and cloud platforms, partnering closely with engineering, operations, and risk teams. Responsibilities include threat modeling, zero-trust design, secure configuration baselines, security tool integration, and guiding remediation.

You will mentor engineers, support audits, align with regulatory requirements, and drive continuous improvement of the firm's security posture in a highly regulated, client-first environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain secure infrastructure architectures for cloud and on-prem environments
• Develop and enforce security standards, patterns, and configuration baselines
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for infrastructure solutions
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and risk teams to embed security by design
• Integrate and optimize security tools across network, endpoint, and cloud platforms
• Guide remediation of vulnerabilities and misconfigurations
• Support regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements for infrastructure security
• Lead zero-trust and identity-centric security initiatives
• Mentor engineers and architects on secure infrastructure best practices
• Drive continuous improvement of the firm's infrastructure security posture
