Senior Security Analyst

Edward Jones is seeking a Senior Security Analyst to protect critical financial systems and client data. In this role, you will monitor security events, investigate threats, and respond to incidents across our enterprise environment. You will manage SIEM alerts, perform vulnerability assessments, and coordinate remediation with technology teams. The analyst will develop and refine security policies, support audits and regulatory requirements, and conduct risk assessments.

You will collaborate with cross-functional partners, mentor junior analysts, and help drive a culture of security, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security events and analyze SIEM alerts
• Investigate security incidents and coordinate effective response
• Perform vulnerability assessments and track remediation activities
• Develop, update, and enforce security policies and standards
• Conduct risk assessments for systems, applications, and vendors
• Support regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with IT and business teams on secure solutions
• Implement and tune security tools and monitoring rules
• Create documentation, playbooks, and security reports
• Mentor junior analysts and promote security best practices
