Edward Jones seeks a Non-Human Identity Security Engineer III to design and enhance identity and access management for service accounts, bots, and application identities across our financial platforms. You will implement least-privilege access, automate lifecycle management, and integrate IAM tools with cloud and on-prem systems. Responsibilities include building secure credential management, enforcing governance and compliance controls, troubleshooting complex access issues, and partnering with security, infrastructure, and development teams to safeguard sensitive financial data in a regulated environment while mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain non-human identity and access management solutions for service, bot, and application accounts
- Implement and enforce least-privilege policies and role-based access controls across platforms
- Automate identity lifecycle processes, including provisioning, rotation, and deprovisioning of credentials
- Integrate IAM tools with cloud, on-prem, and Dev
- Ops pipelines to protect financial systems and data
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex access and authentication issues
- Ensure alignment with regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements in a financial services environment
- Develop and maintain security standards, runbooks, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and development teams on architecture and risk mitigation
- Conduct security reviews and access certifications for non-human identities
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of IAM practices
