IT Business Systems Analyst - Trading

Consider joining the MX Holdings family as an IT Business Systems Analyst - Trading Division in our St. Louis, MO location. The IT Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for ensuring proper and ongoing alignment between the goals and objectives of the commodity trading business and the capabilities of IT systems used to manage and control business operations. The systems are primarily ERP and CTRM plus any related Independent Software Vendors (ISV’s) or custom interfaces that are used to link them.

This role will require a deep understanding of business processes and IT systems, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in a similar role within the commodity trading, finance, or sales industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Business Process Analysis:
  Collaborate with various business units and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, identifying areas for improvement in existing processes and recommending IT solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Systems Implementation and Upgrades:
  Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of IT system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations and successful project delivery.
• System Integration:
  Aid and support the integration of various IT business systems, ensuring seamless data flow between different applications and platforms, and facilitating end-to-end process automation.
• Requirements Documentation:
  Create comprehensive and detailed functional and technical specifications, ensuring alignment with business needs and IT standards.
• Testing and Quality Assurance:
  
  Conduct rigorous testing of IT solutions to identify and resolve defects, ensuring the reliability and stability of systems before deployment.
• User Training and Support:
  Provide training to end‑users on new or updated systems, supporting them in adopting new technologies effectively.
• Vendor Management:
  Collaborate with external IT vendors and partners in the requirements, testing, and implementation stages of projects; also, assisting with the assessment and procurement of larger‑scale IT solutions and services.
• Security and Compliance:
  Work closely with the IT security team to ensure that all implemented solutions comply with industry standards and internal security protocols.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and IT system enhancements, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role dealing with supply chain management solutions.

• Possesses in-depth knowledge of supply chain management and ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Microsoft Business Central.
• Exhibits strong expertise in analyzing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
• Uses experience with system integration, data migration, and process automation.
• Maintains up‑to‑date knowledge of common best‑practice project management methodologies and tools.
• Ensures there is excellent communication and use of interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Solves problems and has the ability to think critically about complex business challenges.
• Maintains certifications in relevant IT and business analysis domains (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are a plus.
• Works comfortably on teams governed by Agile Principles.
• Possesses strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 features and capabilities.
• Has experience delivering technical training to a wide array of user types.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsor ships are not available.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Candidates must meet pre‑employment screening requirements.
• Must live in or be willing to relocate to St. Louis, MO.
