Team Overview:
Edward Jones is seeking a Service Now Solution Architect to perform a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing Service Now solutions that align with our business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable configurations. Your expertise will be instrumental in optimizing workflows, improving service delivery, and driving innovation within our firm.
In addition to helping guide the implementation of Service Now modules, this role will help address the existing Service Now platform and architecture needs within the firm. This will include integrations with other on-premises and SaaS applications, defining archiving strategies, ensuring the health and efficiency of the platform, and evaluating future opportunities.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide architecture leadership of the Service Now platform, including partnering with other technology teams such as Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, assess business processes, and design comprehensive technical solutions on the Service Now platform.
  • Architect, configure, and provide solution guidance on Service Now applications to meet business needs while maintaining overall platform health and stability.
  • Provide oversight with vendor and third-party partners supporting the Service Now platform.
  • Lead architecture reviews and enforce best practices.
  • Evaluate health scan findings and provide remediation recommendations.
  • Oversee the evaluation, selection, and implementation of appropriate Service Now products.
  • Develop integration strategies with third-party systems and tools to enhance functionality and streamline processes.
  • Define data archiving strategies to meet business needs and performance requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.
  • Stay abreast of Service Now best practices, emerging technologies, and industry trends.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure the solution meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in all aspects of system design and implementation.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 7+ years of working in a design and architecture capacity within Service Now and/or other large scale enterprise platforms.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
  • Deep understanding of Service Now platform automation (Flows, Playbooks, Integration Hub)
  • Experience with low/code and no-code aspects of Service Now.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
