We are seeking an Engineer I to support the ongoing enhancement, modernization, and support of our Client Products and Services technology platforms. In this role, you will contribute to the development and support and modernization of our Asset Movement Transfers applications. The ideal candidate is a collaborative developer who enjoys solving technical challenges, learning new technologies, and partnering with business and technology teams to deliver innovative solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.
What You'll Do:
Design, develop, implement, and support Client Products and Services Technology solutions and integrations. Contribute to the modernization of our Asset Movement Transfers Applications. Develop new web applications and maintain existing applications utilizing modern web technologies such as Spring, REST, React, JavaScript/jQuery, Thymeleaf, JPA, Kubernetes, Junit, Selenium, and SoapUI Collaborate with Asset Movement teams, business partners, and technical stakeholders to deliver enhancements using industry best practices.
Participate in analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing support activities. Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance system functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or related work experience
- 1-3 years- experience in web application development and support
- Experience with Kafka, MongoDB, MS SQL and Linux is a plus
- Experience with Dev Ops, CI/CD, or Agile practices is beneficial
- Demonstrates continuous learning, staying current with evolving technologies, tools, and processes
- Proactive, adaptable team player who takes initiative and collaborates.
