The work- Build and maintain data processing systems by integrating internal and external data sources.
- Create new pipelines and reusable components at scale for reporting and analytics products.
- Write complex queries to transform raw data into accessible models via coding.
- Clean, prepare, transform, and optimize data at scale for integration and consumption.
- Implement data management projects and restructure web architecture.
- Diagnose and resolve complex data issues and perform root‑cause analysis to proactively address product problems.
- Own the data pipeline and support systems during failures.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience working with Azure cloud‑native technologies.
- 2+ years of experience developing ETL pipelines in Azure using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Event Hubs, Event Grid, and Azure Functions.
- 2+ years of experience building data engineering pipelines with Databricks or Spark.
- 1+ year working with technologies such as Cosmos DB, AzureSQL, Redis, and Synapse.
- 1+ year working with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Oozie.
- Strong programming foundation in Python or Java.
- Strong experience with SQL.
- Experience working in Agile teams.
- Experience with streaming and batching solutions.
- Experience working with CSV, JSON, XML, and complex structures.
- Familiarity with Dev Ops processes, CI/CD, security, coding standards, and SDLC cycle.
- Experience with migrations to major cloud platforms.
- Experience working with databases, compute, storage, and networks on one or more of Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, VMware, or Oracle Cloud Platform.
You must live locally to St. Louis, MO, or be willing to travel to St. Louis every week Monday‑Thursday.
Base pay range for this position is $114,700–$221,100 USD, depending on location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
