Location: St. Louis
Project Duration
6 month contract + possible 12 month extension (or conversion to perm)
Must be US Citizen, GC, GC EAD, TN or H4 Visa.
Must have Change Healthcare (formerly McKesson or Optum) Required and GE (Preferred).
Requires/preferred 5-7 years of Radiology PACS experience.
Job DescriptionProvide technical expertise in one or more information technology disciplines to support the organization's technical infrastructure.
- Respond to user problems by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively.
- Troubleshoot most Radiology application problems independently.
- Possess and apply working knowledge of at least one technology environment to address and resolve problems.
- Analyze a chain of events and apply technical knowledge following established procedures and/or detailed specifications.
- Write fundamental documentation in a clear, concise manner and according to standards.
- Share knowledge effectively within the work team.
- Possesses extensive hands‑on experience and in‑depth knowledge of Change Healthcare Radiology PACS, GE Viewpoint. Tera Recon, Rapid, DynaCAD, and other ancillary Radiology applications.
- Has a solid foundation of knowledge and skill sets for supported platforms/products and environments that support the Clinical Imaging Space.
- Has the ability to understand customer requirements and the impact on the technical direction of a solution.
- Is part of a larger team, while managing own work, will be assigned tasks of greater duration and complexity.
- Role will form productive relationships with internal customers by listening, clarifying, and responding effectively.
- Develops & presents internal documentation to be utilized by the team.
- Develops & presents external documentation to be utilized by clinical associates.
- Works to mentor other associates on the team.
- Generate any ad‑hoc reporting as required.
- Able to collaborate with both internal & external resource partners.
- Troubleshoot support issues, applications and assists with analyst level escalations.
- Build new test and production environments.
- Performs/assists in application upgrades and applications life cycle management.
- Familiar with Service Now incident and task management, including assignment, tracking, updates.
- Contributes to the development of project plans, identifies key milestones, and raises critical project issues such as resource needs and contingencies.
