You will help operate and improve platform reliability, lifecycle management, automation, security, and recovery capabilities while partnering with storage, network, security, and development teams. The role supports mission-critical workloads in a secure or disconnected environment.

Responsibilities:

Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes and Open Shift clusters across on-premise and hybrid cloud environments

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support containerized application delivery

Implement infrastructure as code Monitor platform performance, availability, and security; respond to incidents and optimize systems

Develop and maintain platform tooling, automation, and self-service capabilities

Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve platform usability and reliability

Ensure compliance with organizational security and governance standards

Communicate with multidisciplinary SAFe Agile teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI with a CI poly clearance (or ability to obtain a CI poly)
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, systems administration, Dev Ops, infrastructure, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience will be considered. Additional years of experience commiserate in lieu of a degree.

Production experience operating Red Hat Open Shift Container Platform.

Experience supporting production Open Shift environments, including several of the following: cluster lifecycle management, upgrades, Operators, node pools, ingress, registries, and troubleshooting.

Infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, scripting, or Git Ops.

Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Argo CD, Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI)
Monitoring, alerting, incident response, capacity management, and operational runbook development.

Capable of working effectively with geographically distributed operations and development teams

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers and teams in written and oral forums

Willingness to work 90% or as needed in a SCIF environment with some on-call or after-hours onsite support for customer’s mission

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience integrating Open Shift with enterprise storage. Familiarity with Net App ONTAP, Astra Trident, NFS, iSCSI, or CSI-based storage is a plus.

Security hardening and compliance in restricted, disconnected, or classified environments.
