How you’ll make an impact Client Support- Leads meetings with clients, including meetings at client locations.
- Responsible for providing comprehensive client support and acts as main client contact for book of business.
- Effectively manages difficult client communications including loss of coverage, claim denials, unfavorable underwriting and other challenging renewal scenarios.
- Negotiates and sells lines of insurance to clients to round out accounts as appropriate. May design insurance and risk management plans for clients as assigned and directed by Agency management.
- Owns all audit, review and claims processes for assigned book of business.
- Analyzes data to draft client service plans, stewardship reports, and other meaningful reports tailored to the needs of the client and circumstances of the presentation.
- Manages and develops strong personal relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel.
- Skilled at forecasting industry trends to predict needed changes in client strategies.
- Reviews changes in carrier offerings and policies and relays information to the larger service team.
- Mentors or formally directs the work of more junior team members including Account Coordinators, Account Managers, and Senior Account Managers.
- Facilitates and collaborates with account team on the agency’s renewal strategy.
- Creates complex risk‑management strategies for accounts and other team members to attract and retain large client accounts.
- Partners with industry and carrier experts to deliver strategy and solution options to clients and the broader agency.
- Conducts book reviews to determine which accounts need an in‑person risk assessment or client meeting to support agency retention.
- Other duties as assigned.

Required: Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience – or – High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience. 1+ years supervisory experience. Appropriate P&C licensing as required.
Preferred: Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen.

Compensation and benefitsWe offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
