Attorney​/Lawyer

Description We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team in St. Louis, Missouri. This long-term contract position involves providing essential litigation support for a class action case. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in civil litigation and demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate with other legal professionals.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive document reviews to support ongoing litigation efforts.

- Prepare and draft pleadings, legal memorandums, and briefs with precision and clarity.

- Perform in-depth legal research to ensure thorough case preparation.

- Edit and refine legal documents, including motions and briefs, to maintain high-quality standards.

- Coordinate deposition schedules, manage calendars, and ensure all parties are properly prepared.

- Work closely with external law firms to maintain collaboration and consistency in case handling.

- Participate in weekly virtual meetings to provide case updates and discuss progress.

- Draft and submit motions, ensuring adherence to procedural and legal requirements.

- Monitor motion practice and deposition processes, supporting effective case management. Requirements - Must be a licensed attorney with experience in civil litigation.

- Demonstrated ability to draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

- Proficiency in conducting discovery and legal research.

- Familiarity with class action cases and related legal procedures.

- Strong understanding of deposition processes and motion practice.

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with external legal teams and stakeholders.

- Detail-oriented approach to document review and case preparation.

- Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage time in a fast-paced legal environment.

The pay range for this position is $60 to $65. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. Hired contract/contract professionals are also eligible to enroll in our company 401(k) plan. Visit  for more information.
