Location: St. Louis

We are partnered with a top national law firm hiring a Trust & Estates Paralegal in their St. Louis office. This role supports attorneys in all aspects of estate and trust administration while also contributing to client financial reporting and analysis.

Hours

Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM CST

Schedule | Location

HYBRID | St. Louis, MO

Compensation

$70 - $85K + Discretionary Bonus

Ideal Candidate Requirements
  • Paralegal certificate or Associate’s in Paralegal Studies preferred
  • 5+ years of Trusts & Estates experience required
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Familiarity with tax and trust accounting software a plus
  • Ability to work well with a team, as well as independently
Role Responsibilities
  • Assist attorneys in drafting and reviewing estate planning and probate documents (wills, trusts, POAs, probate pleadings, etc.)
  • Maintain trust financial records, perform trust accountings, and prepare gift, estate, and fiduciary income tax returns
  • Manage probate filings, maintain key deadlines, and assist with trust funding and administration
  • Prepare financial analyses and reporting for clients, attorneys, and firm leadership
  • Analyze profitability, billing data, and matter budgets in support of client relationships
  • Prepare presentations and reports for executive and practice group meetings
  • Coordinate with clients, financial advisors, and accountants as a primary point of contact
  • Support attorneys and leadership with special projects and ongoing financial tracking
