Position: Plaintiff Asbestos Discovery Associate (Heavy Writing)
Downtown St. Louis plaintiff asbestos firm is seeking to hire an associate attorney for a discovery role. The position will support a litigation team and primarily focus on legal research/writing. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): legal research; drafting law and motion briefs; opposing dispositive motions; taking and defending depositions; propounding and responding to written discovery; court appearances; managing court dockets;

assisting case handling attorneys; meeting and conferring with opposing counsel; preparing subpoenas; FIOA requests; and documents with respect to deposition testimony. Position could include second and third chair trial work. Qualified candidates will have 2 to 10 years of experience with a plaintiff firm; possess excellent legal research and writing abilities; discovery experience; law and motion experience; the ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, and an enthusiastic desire to work as a part of a team on behalf of injured clients.

Candidates must be members of the Missouri and/or Illinois state bars and able to travel periodically. Please note travel for this role will not be frequent. Good salary!
