Plaintiff Asbestos Lit. Case Development Associate

Downtown plaintiff asbestos firm is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a junior-level associate position in their Litigation Case Development Practice area.

Primary responsibilities:

provide legal support and guidance to clients and their families; responsible for case management from assignment to conclusion and work with all team members and departments to ensure an effective, timely process; conduct client depositions and have the flexibility to travel to best suit the needs of the client; legal research, investigation and preparation of the case for file work up and communicate instructions and information needed to integral departments within the firm;

draft/prepare legal documents as needed; conduct court motion practice when necessary; call center responsibilities to include rotation of weekend assignments. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of prior or current experience in plaintiff asbestos or personal injury litigation practice; admission to the Missouri bar; proficiency in all MS Office products; and an ability to travel. Additional licensure in IL is desirable.
