Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Parts Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Berkeley, MO.
Position Responsibilities - Associate Level 2:
* Assists with inventory assessments and inventory management
* Assists with safety stock inventory management
* Coordinates resolution for abnormal parts condition management
* Assists with overall parts coordination, status, tracking, and communication
* Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
* Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain
* Ensures integration of Bills of Material (BOM) change into production plan schedules
* Documents and resolves order delinquencies
* Reports schedule adherence issues
* Applies developed solutions to inventory plans
* Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories
* Coordinates and supports process improvements
* Works under general supervision.

* Performs inventory assessments and optimizes inventory management
* Executes regular safety stock inventory management
* Determines resolution for abnormal parts condition management
* Leads overall parts coordination, status, tracking, and communication
* Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions
* Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain
* Ensures integration of Bills of Material (BOM) change into production plan schedules
* Oversees on-time delivery
* Documents and elevates order delinquencies constraints
* Reports schedule adherence issues
* Assists with and oversees inventory plans
* Optimizes inventory levels
* Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories
* Initiates audits
* Develops and creates schedules for products and services
* Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals
* Implements and maintains process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance
* Works under general direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.
Ability to Obtain U.S. Secret - Interim Pre-Start & Final Post Start & Special Program Access
This position is for 1st shift.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Associate Level 2
* 1+ years of experience supporting Manufacturing/Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment.
* 1+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
* 1+ years' experience supporting deliverables for both internal/external customers
Experienced Level 3:
* 3+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or materials management.
* 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, shipping or customer service environment.
* 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
* 3+ years of experience in Production Control and Material Management processes.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor's degree or higher.
* Associate Level 2:
More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experienced Level 3:
More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Typical Education/
Experience:
Associate Level 2:
Typically, 1 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.

Typically, 3 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degrees (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred but not required.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 5% of the time.
