Summary Description

The Supply Chain Specialist – Strategic Procurement & Cost Analytics supports enterprise procurement initiatives by providing cost analysis, supplier intelligence, and market insights that drive strategic sourcing decisions. This role focuses on procurement strategies for concrete and reinforcing steel supply chains
, supporting supplier negotiations, cost benchmarking, and procurement performance tracking across projects and regions.

The position works closely with Procurement Leadership, Operations, and Finance to ensure material supply strategies deliver cost competitiveness, supplier reliability, and scalable procurement practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support enterprise sourcing strategies for ready mix concrete, cementitious materials, aggregates, and reinforcing steel
    .
  • Develop cost benchmarks and should-cost models to support supplier negotiations and sourcing decisions.
  • Analyze procurement data to identify pricing trends, cost savings opportunities, and supplier performance insights
    .
  • Provide cost intelligence for regional and metro-level supplier negotiations
    .
  • Maintain supplier pricing databases and support enterprise master supply agreements
    .
  • Evaluate supplier quotes and pricing proposals to ensure competitive market alignment.
  • Support development of procurement dashboards, supplier scorecards, and cost performance reporting
    .
  • Collaborate with Operations and Finance to validate savings and ensure procurement strategies align with project requirements.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

3–6 years of experience in procurement, supply chain analytics, or strategic sourcing, preferably within construction materials, concrete, or reinforcing steel supply chains
.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capability
  • Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred
  • Understanding of construction material pricing and supply markets
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: Competitive Annual Salary based on qualifications, skills, training, experience, and location.

Discretionary Annual Bonus: Subject to company performance and individual contribution.
