SummaryThe SAP Analyst will own the SAP MM portfolio of applications, transactions, and jobs supporting JTMS materials management for joint deployment and sustainment. Configure, optimize, and sustain the business processes related to replenishment, forecasting, purchasing, inventory, and master data — the operating layer that keeps the joint logistics enterprise supplied.
Responsibilities- Configure, enhance, maintain, and support SAP MM and related logistics and reporting systems within the JTMS environment.
- Manage materials master, vendor master, info records, and source lists; configure release strategies, valuation, and inventory management settings.
- Configure and support replenishment, MRP, forecasting, purchasing transactions, goods movements, physical inventory, and invoice verification.
- Partner with the PTP team on the procurement cycle and with FI on the MM-FI integration; troubleshoot integration defects spanning logistics and finance.
- Train and support end users; produce SOPs, job aids, and Tier 2/3 support runbooks.
- Develop functional designs, configuration documentation, test scripts, and training material; participate in unit, integration, regression, and UAT cycles.
- Resolve defects, perform root-cause analysis, and contribute to process optimization across joint sustainment workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of SAP Materials Management (MM) functional experience.
- Strong understanding of Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Material Master, Vendor Master, Source Determination, Valuation, and Physical Inventory.
- Experience writing functional specifications for custom developments.
- Experience supporting testing and defect resolution.
Strong analytical, communication, and customer engagement skills. - Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
