The Supply Chain Specialist role at Missouri Pipe Fittings supports our growing supply chain and operations activities near downtown St. Louis. This role is critical to ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time while coordinating purchasing and transportation activities across our supply chain network.
The ideal candidate enjoys a collaborative fast-paced environment and meets daily and weekly goals by leveraging strong communication, multi-tasking and Microsoft Office skills.
MOPIPE is a 92-year-old domestic manufacturer and distributor of pipe nipples and fittings. We sell through PVF distributors directly to manufacturers in industries such as utilities, HVAC/plumbing, oil & gas, and agriculture. Our specialty is fast-turn, hard-to-source industrial parts — and we back it up with over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing and inventory space in St. Louis, Missouri. As of May 2026, MOPIPE has ~35 employees.
PositionResponsibilities
- Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and sales teams to deliver on-time in full sales order fulfillment goals of 95% or greater
- Support the customer order fulfillment processes with inventory, purchasing, and transportation solutions
- Maintain accurate ERP transactions, shipping records, and inventory accuracy in the ERP system
- Work directly with vendors in SE Asia, North America and Europe to deliver on-time purchase order fulfillment
- Become an MRP expert for MOPIPE data and ERP system work with demand planning, supply planning, PO creation and vendor fulfillment
- Elevate inventory management activities such as stock counts, inventory analysis and ERP transactions through individual contribution and team coordination
- Support continuous improvement in supply chain initiatives, i.e. warehouse improvements in 2026
- Lead month end inventory reporting and reconciliations between physical stock and ERP inventory levels
- Maintains accurate and timely order fulfillment within ERP system
- Supports on-time inbound and outbound shipments while actively working to minimize disruptions
- Demonstrates strong communication and follow-through with internal teams and external partners
- Maintains accurate good receipts and 99.5% inventory accuracy in the ERP system
- Improves operational efficiency through data, processes improvement and creative problem solving

Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized 4 year university or equivalent professional experience
- 3-5 years experience in customer service, inside sales, logistics, supply chain or operations preferred
- Experience using ERP systems required, Microsoft BC D365 is a plus
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel proficiency required, lookups and pivot tables
- Ability to work in warehouse and plant environments as necessary, reviewing inventory and collaboration with order fulfillment teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
